Shamsuddeen Aujara is the Chairman of Deens Corporate Limited - Deenscorp Nigeria, a Nigerian energy focused firm with interest in creating economic and social value in Nigeria via electrification projects. His career in the Nigeria energy industry spans over seven years. He is one of the driving forces behind the successful transformation of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) it after succeeded Power Holding Company of Nigeria Plc (PHCN).

Shamsuddeen received his PhD in Crude Oil Trade Finance from University of Central Lancashire in Preston, United Kingdom. He holds Masters of Science in Oil and Gas Accounting from University of Abertay Dundee in Scotland, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bayero University Kano, Nigeria. He attended a prestigious London Institute of Banking and Finance, where he completed Certificate in International Trade Finance.

Shamsuddeen is a high profile with strong skills and comprehensive expertise in the areas of crude oil trade finance, business transformation and strategy. Alongside the Deenscorp Royale Management Committee, Shamsuddeen aims to grow the company’s business to global space. Shamsuddeen manage the day-to-day operations of the Deenscorp Royale, carrying out a vital client-relationship management role with major clients as well as taking a lead in business development and profile raising of the company. Under his stewardship, the company has been successfully established as an independent, partner-managed and internationally active trade finance and management consultancy.

Shamsuddeen is a Nigerian Delegate at Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Conferences and also play a key analytical role on OPEC’s precisions on every conference. He is also a founder of Shamsuddeen Aujara Foundation. Shamsuddeen is a season traveler with business engagements across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
